Hounds Town USA Franchise Owners Open 2nd Location in Hicksville, NY!
Hounds Town USA is a godsend for many owners who do not have time to care for their pets, as they can be assured that their beloved furry friends are in good hands. This was how Maria Gillen discovered Hounds Town doggie daycare Franchise.
When Maria Gillen became a mom to two wonderful dogs but did not have time to give them the attention they needed, she began bringing them to the pet and dog daycare franchise, Hounds Town USA, in Farmingdale. Hounds Town Farmingdale is where the NYPD’s previous canine handler and Hounds Town CEO Michael Gould worked.
With Michael’s expertise and the amazing concept and layout of Hounds Town, Maria’s dogs always came home happy and ready to rest. However, when Michael decided to put the facility on the market, Maria knew what she wanted to do. She and two former employees, Candice Lorenza and Jennifer Jung, purchased the location and quickly became Hounds Town’s top-earning location.
“It’s rewarding to take care of these pups,” said Gillen. “We make sure they have fun in a safe environment, and at the end of the day, we hand them over to Mom and Dad happy and tired.”
The location was so successful that the trio decided to open another dog daycare location not too far away in Hicksville, NY. The pet franchise’s grand opening took place on April 14, and customers were allowed to tour the facility.
“We are thrilled that the Farmingdale team chose to expand,” says Founder and CEO Mike Gould. “Their first location has been hugely successful, they took what we started and ran with it, and built an empire they are now scaling. That is always our goal for our franchisees: to provide them with our business model on training wheels that gets them to an at-capacity facility, and then move on to build another.”

Hounds Town USA Opens Another NY Doggie Daycare in Garden City!
Colleen Tracy-Shaver and Anne McDonald are, like many Hounds Town Franchise Owners, pet owners who love their dogs dearly and want only the best for them. That’s why when they met up with Michael Gould, Hounds Town CEO and former NYPD canine handler.
The Hounds Town CEOs’ expertise and philosophy impressed them, and the doggy daycare facility blew them away. They knew that Hounds Town was the pet franchise for them, and decided on opening a location in Hicksville, NY so that other pet lovers could bring their fur babies to a safe and fun environment.
