Pet care franchisee Hounds Town – Farmingdale threw the Bullies, Boxers, and Beers fundraising event at the Brewers Collective Beer Company in Bay Shore, New York. On August 3, guests enjoyed drinks, raffles, and music all while raising crucial money for breeds in need. Hounds Town Charities and Hounds Town USA donated proceeds from the charity event to Get a Bull, Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy and  Adopt a Boxer Rescue.

Hounds Town USA began Hounds Town Charities in 2011 to give back to the canine communities which support their dog day care franchisees. A 501c3 started by founder Michael Gould, the charity arm of the business works with local rescues to foster and rehabilitate dogs so they can find loving homes. The New York-based franchise has been growing substantially over the past few years, expanding to more than twenty franchisees in seven different states. Each franchisee is encouraged to work with the local dog rescues and charities in their communities.

Founder Jackie Bondanza said of the Bullies, Boxers, and Beers fundraiser, “Get a Bull and Adopt a Boxer are two indispensable Long Island rescues. We are proud of Hounds Town – Farmingdale not only for working with these amazing organizations, but also for throwing this event to raise money for in-need dogs.”
